Every individual carries a proud and success feeling with a degree certificate being awarded to him by the School or College. Sadly at the same time we do have fake certificates being circulated which is spoiling the reputation of the Institution and the image of the certificate holder. Hence there is a rising concern for the Institutions and colleges to ensure the aunthencity of the certificate and information. |

 |
M2M’s research and commitment to excellence with the Universities has designed SecureCertificate to end the circulation of fake certificates and strengthen the verification of the information pertaining to the students. SecureCertificate has been designed by using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology with a RFID tag embedded in between the certificate. This RFID tag encoded with all the relevant academic information that includes the Name of the student, Degree attained, photograph and the results. SecureCertificate has gone a step further to also include the fingerprints to solidify the uniqueness of the certificate. |

SecureCertificate uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology that transmits the information using radio waves to the system. The RFID also called as dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) is a package consisting of a microchip and an antenna. This package is usually referred to as an RFID transponder or Tag. The RFID Tag’s antenna receives the signal from an RFID reader and transmits the signal with the necessary Data (The data can be a unique key or customized information). Active and Passive are the two types of RFID tags that are generally used. The active RFID tags transfer the information directly to the reader with the use of an external battery or source, whereas, the passive tags does not require an external power for functioning |
